Can be used to make nasal sprays. Please note this is regular saline with no preservative and must be used within a few days to prevent bacterial growth.
Saljet® is simply a better alternative to delivering small volume topical sterile saline. It’s faster, sterile, and more economical than the standard practice of drawing multiple applications from a large container of saline using syringes and needles.
- Ideal for use in moistening and lubricating absorbent dressings for traumatic wounds, cuts, bruises and minor burns prior to the removal from the wound area
- Saljet saline (sodium chloride) is effective with just a small volume (30 mL)
- Sterility is assured for each application and every patient to reduce the potential for cross contamination
